The primary animated backdrop was largely composed of archive stock footage and photography, including aerial views of land and cityscapes, plane contrails, and, most importantly, detailed imagery of plane instrumentation such as radar, targeting systems, and bombsight perspectives.

The overall design captured the intricate, mechanical nuances of wartime technology and the handcrafted optics of WWII. While we used CG to create some original content, like landscapes and terrain, our approach avoided a sterile 3D style.
